NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading in the green zone at 11:58AM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Emami NSE 2.26 % (up 1.79 per cent), United Breweries NSE 1.86 % (up 1.35 per cent), Nestle India NSE 1.45 % (up 1.33 per cent), ITC NSE 1.28 % (up 1.12 per cent) and Marico (up 0.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Godrej Consumer Products NSE -0.25 % (down 0.32 per cent), Dabur NSE -0.01 % India (down 0.09 per cent) and Colgate Palmolive NSE -0.01 % (India) (down 0.06 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.66 per cent up at 31647.75 around 11:58AM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 82.15 points at 11394.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 282.5 points at 38502.89.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, BHEL, Zee Ent., Vodafone Idea and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of BASF India, Indiabulls Ventures (PP), Aarti Drugs, Affle (India) Ltd. and Alkyl Amines hit their fresh 52 week high in today’s trade, while hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
